Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is very traditional and unique with outdated yet charming rooms, an amazing friendly service but poor value for money dining. Location is rural and pretty but somewhat remote. The facilities are equate but limited. Price may not fully align with value offered.
My stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable. The rooms were incredibly unique, with a turret right beside mine, giving me private access to a tower from the bathroom - such an amazing feature! Everything was spotless, and I had plenty of hot water along with fresh towels daily.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room in the outsider house was small and far from the castle, yet the one in the turret was big with a lovely bathroom, private access, and a charming dining set up. The service could have been better, especially with rude staff interactions. The location was peaceful and isolated, providing a fairytale-like experience. The dining options were average, with traditional continental breakfast. Facilities were decent with room for improvement in certain areas.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with extra seating and beautiful rural views, making it a great base for exploring the Dordogne. However, it lacks a walk-in shower and the dining experience may not meet expectations.
